Saga Tallahassee

Saga (formerly known as Younion) is one of the nicest student apartments in Tallahassee. Closely located to the north side of the campus, makes it perfect for students in business and sciences. Every building is within 5-15 minutes walk. It’s right next to the tunnel which makes it easier to cross Tennessee street. I’ve never felt myself unsafe in the area. Great stuff and amazing maintenance team. Property is always clean and well kept. It’s pricey comparing to other complexes, but you get a building with no mold issues, clean and safe territory, gym, study rooms, and convenient location. For anyone signing, I would recommend getting a parking spot since they might run out of space later on. I’m in 2x2 with a pool view and it’s pretty awesome.

I lived here for a year and a half. It is definitely not the worst place to live. However it was way better before new management took over. It takes maintenance forever to get things fixed. I had to live with no AC in the summer for about 2 days before i could get maintenance to come. it was hotter in the apartment than outside. I also had them come to my apartment to fix my dishwasher 3 times and each time i was told it was “fixed”. It never actually got fixed and me and my roommates just gave up and hand washed everything for the rest of the year. The elevator constantly has issues, with them closing it down or it just flat out stops working (sometimes with people inside). Residents here don’t really have a lot of respect for each other. i.e. i’ve had my wreath stolen, throw up by my front door, and also massive dog poop down the hall that sat there for an entire day before being picked up. it smelled awful. The best problem is parking. They don’t have enough for residents. I tried to get parking the entire time i was there. street parking around that area is awful and i ended up paying the church down the street hundreds of dollars for a space. For the price the apartments are pretty small and there are a lot of appliance issues to be paying that much in rent. I have decided to move out as other places have more to offer for cheaper prices.
